BIM Manager

Your Role

As a BIM Manager, you’ll help shape the BIM policy within our organization and ensure the further development, optimization, and standardization of our BIM processes. You’ll combine a strategic and coordinating role with active involvement in ongoing projects within our Building Services and Industrial Plants departments. This allows you to stay closely connected to day-to-day operations and contribute directly to high-quality project delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• You will develop and implement the BIM strategy and the corresponding action plan.
• You will coordinate communication among the BIM Team Coordinators and BIM Modelers from the various departments.
• You will optimize BIM processes, workflows, and standards within the organization.
• You will monitor the quality, uniformity, and consistency of BIM models, data, and drawing output.
• You will keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and trends in BIM and apply them within the organization.
• You will serve as the point of contact for external BIM partners, clients, and software vendors.
• You manage and optimize Autodesk and other BIM-related software licenses.
• You guide change and improvement initiatives and encourage colleagues to make the most of BIM.
• You actively contribute to diverse and challenging projects within the Building Services and Industrial Plants departments.
• You develop BIM projects in Revit in accordance with applicable BIM standards and the required LOD levels. Based on these models, you generate plans, quantities, and bills of quantities.

Your Qualifications

As a BIM Manager, you combine technical expertise with strong coordination and communication skills. You know how to bring people together and have a clear vision for the future of BIM within a professional project environment.

In addition, you have

• A degree in Engineering, a Bachelor’s in Architectural Drafting, Applied Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM protocols and collaborating with external partners.
• Strong knowledge of Autodesk AEC Collection, Autodesk Forma/ACC, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
• Knowledge of IFC exports, worksharing, and BIM-related standards such as ISO 19650.
• Strong technical insight and a strategic perspective on digitalization within the construction industry.
