INTELLIGENT AND ECONOMICAL CONSTRUCTIONS

We transform the architect's creativity into a design that can be realised in practice. We make stability studies of foundations and of structures in concrete, steel, wood, and this in all sectors, from residential housing over office work to industrial projects. 

We always strive for the simplest and most logical structure. In doing so, we take into account the spatial and architectural requirements of the building, as well as the economic side by designing with a minimal amount of material. However, sustainability also lies in a flexibly designed basic structure, which allows spaces to be adapted and/or reallocated in the future.

At BM Engineering, we are used to working intensively with other disciplines, such as Building Services, Industrial MEP or civil engineering. We do this in-house, if the client chooses an integrated approach that ensures time and efficiency gains. But it can also be done in close consultation with external construction partners appointed by the customer.

Almost all the projects we work on are built three-dimensionally in Revit. We employ BIM to design the entire project from predesign to detailled design according to the principle of the 'digital twin'. From the BIM model, we can automatically create measurement statements. Additionally, all coordination and input/output with other disciplines are done via the 3D model.

BM Engineering may already have an extensive team with diverse expertise, but our project engineers do both the calculations and site follow-up themselves for their projects. This ensures that we always keep a good overview and that quick decisions can be made during (site) meetings.

At BM Engineering, there is no hierarchy that slows things down. Our staff are in direct contact with the construction partners, which ensures a quick two-way flow of information, and a personalised approach.
